Does the game support lower-end machines?
Published on April 5, 2009 By SplitPeaSoup In Help

I have the money to buy a game, and I am trying to decide between demigod and gal-civ ultimate. I really would like to buy demigod, but I am afraid it won't run on my computer. It's a dell laptop running windows vista, 1.73Ghz and 2GB RAM. Would the game run smoothly with the lowest graphics settings?

Recommended:

  • 3 GHz Processor (Multicore Supported)
  • 1 GB Available System Memory
  • 256 MB 3D Video Card (ATI Radeon 2600 / Nvidia GeForce 7600 or better)

I'm assuming by "1.73ghz" and the fact you're running vista means thats a dual-core processor. The biggest question for yourself would be the graphics card. Most laptops don't have the power in that respect to handle most high quality games. Luckily the engine used for Demigod is pretty forgiving on hardware but even so, i'd say you're skating on the edge of acceptable.

Do you know your graphics card?
