So, I finally had the time to realize the demo came out for Demigod, and I was very impressed. It runs great on my 1.76 Ghz dual core laptop, and it's tons of fun. I would already own it, but I have a coupon for Best Buy. The demo is limited, but it allows someone to really get a feel for the game. The full version promises 5vs5 combat, but 3vs3 is enough to show you how much fun a multiplayer game like this can be. The team-oriented combat really makes you feel involved in something strateg...

So, who else thought Spore was lots of hype and no game? It had builders, sure. But there was no game. Games require challenge. The only part that had any challenge whatsoever was the cell stage, and that was the shortest stage. The creature stage tactics were like the rest of the game, sterotyped and unintriguing. The social game was stupid and overly easy. A memorization puzzle or something would have made it 100x better. The fighting was not like an FPS whatsoever, contrary to the advertis...

I just finished a single player game with entrenchment. Worth the $10. The game dynamics are totally different and totally awesome. Unfortunately, the game is still addictive and long-lasting. A hit and a sweet expansion? Could Stardock be manufacturing great games consistantly?
